Convert from .rar I'ma wondering how you do this. I've found some nice downaloads from other site

Is there anyway to convert them to a .mdx and .blp format?

These are files that need to be extracted, like zip files. Get Winrar to extract them.

Rar files are like Zip files, but much better
Its like making the choice between a horribly compressed Bitmap and a super-great Png to choose between zip and rar

Yeah, but I've been using the 30 day trial version for the past 2 years and it still hasn't run out, just gives me an annoying popup each time it's opened which I can close easy

I think ALZIP can read RAR files:
http://www.altools.net/ALTools/ALZip/tabid/53/Default.aspx It doesn't even have the trial. You just have to buy a commercial license, but if it is for personal use, it is free.
