I need help with a simple map request... how do i make my map bigger then the size it gives me when i hit create a new map?

If you are asking how to make the map bigger than 256x256, then you can use World Editor Unlimited, to make it a maximum of 480x480. However, the 256x256 maximum size is there for a reason; and you'll find out that if you make a 480x480 terrain, the whole editor is going to lagg and delay heavily, and also, there are several buggs like being unable to summon buildings outside the 256x256 area of the center even if the ground is blighted. So I recommend you sticking to the normal World Editor.

If you still want to make the map slightly bigger, you can find World Editor Unlimited in the Tools Section, but it's outdated, so I recommend downloading the newest at www.wc3campaigns.net but remember that it's your own risk.
