In a game, i have about 540 units that i need to delete. But after i delete a couple of custom units, world editor crashes and comes up with this message:
The application has encountered a critical error. Not enough storage is avaiable to process the commd.
Program c:\programfile\warcraftiii\worldedit.exe Object CustomObjectFieldc.?AUCustomObject@@)
Not enough Memory.... another variants are: 1)Reinstall the hole game 2)Make a copy of a map and try it again WITH saving every after several deleted units. 3)take a Hammer and make a "comp bash"
I think Warcraft III uses alot of physical memory, perhaps you should rise it a bit. Otherwise, I don't understand why it is having that reaction. Make sure you have the last patch, and you could also try the second tip of Vampire.
Heres what i did. I would delete 3 units at a time and then save. Then after saving is done, i would contine to delete 3 more units. But after about 20 units are deleted, WE crashes. i got this map in an email, and when i opened it, the import manager had a war3map.j file. i deleted it and made crashes less frequent but still crashed nonetheless. BTW did i mention the map size is 480x480?
