I don't know if this is the right section to post in, ah anyway here it is:

Is it possible to make abilites "negative" for the caster, for instance make gloves of haste to REDUCE the attack speed for the one who carries it?

Shift+Double Click on the field you want to make negative. You can also go to the preferences and do allow negative values in object editor.
