Models dont work on trees (destructible)

I created a model of a tree and i want to use it on a tree, Outland tree wall or whatever. My model works on units, destructibles and doodads but not on trees specially. How can i make it work??

well theres 2 ways, if i say the first one, i could be busted for advertising, but ill tell u the 2nd way. Find a doodad that looks like an outland tree wall (mushroom) and use that. Iv seen ppl use the indestructible tree model for their maps.

i think the problem is that the destructable with the model applied to it has model variations, which are specific to the original model. maybe try removing all variations from the destructable

What does this mean, "it doesn't work"? Does the WE not find it and post an error message? Then it may be a problem with the variation names, set the number of variation to 1 (if you have only one model). Or is the the model just invisible?
Anyways, I also already had some mysterious problems with tree models. After some time it worked, but I had no clue why then and not before... :?
