Upgrading weapons

I wonder if it is possible, if unit has two attacks, to upgrade each attack separately. For example, it has melee ground attack and ranged air attack. I want to make swords upgrade for ground and arrows for air.

I think (but im not too sure) that upgradeable weapons have either the 'melee' or 'ranged' categories to them. So if you want the arrows upgraded make that upgrade a 'ranged' one. But then im not too sure.

Bloodvirus, you're wrong. There's no separation for upgrades.

im pretty sure those selections have no effect, but i havent thouroughly checked
