this is a topic thats not aloud, even though i like to protect my maps

yes, tis both banned.

There are some programs that protect but thats such a hassle when the require you to pay or theres a huge tutorial on it.
You can you the method I used
-I import say a blank file
-Then rename the full path to war3map.wtg
-What this does is when some one tries to open your map it becomes an error in path and literally can't open but you can play it keep in mind to make a duplicated file to protect you edited version to your protected one.

And then I open your map in WinMPQ and replace the war3map.wtg, and its open.
