ability question

is it possible to give a unit a passive ability and then hide the icon on the toolbar? (so you have the skill but it doesn't show up)

To hide an ability in the command interface create a blank icon and assign it to the ability in question
using the Object Editor, for example:

Command Aura:
Art – Icon – Normal ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTN_Blank.blp

Remember to provide a DISBTN for the icon.
You may need to adjust the fields for Art – Button Position if said button conflicts with a preexisting ability.

That'll just make a green square? (Unless there is already an Icon_Blank.blp, or you imported one).

Anyways, if you move your mouse over that, it'll still show the data.

Put the passive ability in a Disabled spellbook. Should work
