Only the fault that this topic has been discussed and crushed a dozen times over. There is too many potential legal problems with a music section. Because even if people made their own music (yeah, right...and you thought modeling was hard...), there's always going to be some idiot who's going to get caught uploading copywrited music, where then this sight would be branded as a "warez" site and be cracked down on....and that would be bad.

Yes, thats right
Not to mention music is not a popular resource for every mapper as it consumes alot of space and as what Gastomi said.

Yeah most music worth putting on a map is usually a couple MB. That would make the download time take forever.

use music in all of my maps!
DBPowerAMP can compress the music, so it doesn't take that much space up.

Hmm...is that a freeware program? If it is, do you have a site for it?

No, it's not freeware.
Do a search on "DBPowerAMP" in the google search engine.

Personally, I make my own musics for my map. I use Propellerhead's Reason, acid 4.0, proDJ and Sample Creator. Then I compress with Winamp.
