The Import feature is exclusive to TFT, however you can still upload skins/models/loadingscreens, ect to RoC maps using winMPQ.
#3
ok do u know how to import/export on that?
#4
Open the map with WinMPQ and load/extract files using that. You can also use the same program to open the WC3 mpq file to extract the in-game/campaign maps, models, skins, sounds, ect.

ok well i have a problem with that... i changed a file to mpq and when i try to load it on to mpq it says that doesnt contain a mpq archive... do u kno what i should do or what im doing wrong?

You don't need to rename anything. You should be able to just open any .mpq or .w3m file in WinMPQ. If you want to open .w3x, go into WinMPQ, and when you go to open the file, change to All instead of just .w3m. Then it'll open .w3x's with no problem.

Never never never ever never ever not once ever import anything into your .mpq in order to change your map. It will screw up your .mpq and your game and it won't affect your map when it's played on someone else's compy. Only import files into your maps.

ok... well i did all that w3m stuff but it doesnt show up when i click on import all object data...

What do you mean Import all Object Data? Where are you doing that? Just open your map with WinMPQ, and import the files with the correct path. That's it. Then if it's a model or icon specify it in the Object Editor.

ok well i already imported it... do i have to extract it???
#10
Extract? You just imported it into your map... Why would you want to take it out?
#11
ok so do i open the map or the file onto mpq??? do you?
#12
What MPQ? You just add the file to your map with WinMPQ, and you're done. If it's a model and spell you have to refer to it in the Object Editor, and if it's a skin it auomatically wraps the unit.

but do i put both the map and the file onto mpq or is there someway i can import the file by using world edit
#14
Yes. Buy TFT and use the Import Editor.
#15
Yes, it's worth it to buy TFT.

I don't understand what you are trying to do. All you do is import the file into your map via WinMPQ (or any other MPQ Editor) and it will be in your map.
