Units on my map sound odd...

For some reason all of my units sound like their talking from the back of a cave, or in a hollow room. The echo is kind of annoying, how should I fix it? Or what did I do to cause it?

LOL, that's not easy to find out though I don't know what you did. I think it could be problems with the hardware/software for your sound, not with wc3 itself.

I guess...but all of my other maps are fine...there's also the fact that I turn off 3D audio makes it fine. I'm guessing it has something to do with triggers and cinematics...I was just hoping it was a common problem and there's some well known cure that I've missed :-p.

Ok 2 things

1.Turn up the volume.

2.Are they close to you when you make them talk?

Yeah I've figured it has something to do with the 3d fucntionality...the problem is I can't get his voice to stop doing the annoying echo reverb...or any other units....but soon as I play any other map fine...just mine...I figured there's some sound trigger I'm missing or some function of cinematics I don't grasp yet...shrug

Well, if you post any triggers that deal with sound in your map, maybe we can point out any problems that could cause the echo. Or it could just be a weird bug thata only happening on your map or your computer.

check whether scenario ------ map options ------ "custom sound environment" is turned off

Yeah.. could be that Custom Sound Environment is set on cave... or worse.. 'psychotic'.
