Usiing Skins

Ok(embarrasing) how can i use a skin after i imported it, i mean i cant use it as a model it's just a .blp help me plz.
#2
Well you import the skin (the .blp) via import manager

Add the path for the skin as this is very important (you can either find the path if the page for the skin you downloaded says it, ask us here or search for it through WC3 Viewer's list)

Its done. The skin will automatically apply to its model. You don't need to do anything else now. If you have mulitple skins for one model, you can't do it by just importing more of the same kind but there is a tutorial on how to do it.

Remember in the WE the skin may seem it hasn't applied its effects to the model but it should work in the game.

But i made it myself. i think it's(the path) Textures\Sentinel\Sentinel.blp could that be true?
#4
No.
All skins under Textures category have no sub-directories. It is Textures\Sentinel.blp
#5
What is the path for Sentry?Sry it's sentry not Sentinel)
#6
Should be Textures\Watcher.blp
#7
Watcher?
#8
Think so ( night elf runner? )
#9
no a sentry they have the same model(sentry and runner) but i used a sentry using image extractor i think. how about i upload it and then you or sum1 else can solve it? nvm i'll do it.

Aha I know this problem.
Using WC3 Viewer's convert, try a 24bit .tga conversion to .blp for your skin (say yes to add opauqe alpha channel)
#12
So after that just write the Path i said?
#13
Yes
#14
