where to find moving sprites?

where can I get cool moving megaman pictures/sprites? I want a new avatar... a zero avatar would be cool.

I suggest making them yourself, like I would if I animated stuff (Which I can do, but don't)

Anywho

http://sprites.planet-megaman.com/

You will find almost EVERY sprite from any Rockman game there

Animating program, like Animation Shop or Coffee Cup Animator.

Animation Shop comes with Paintshop Pro, and I think Coffee Cup is freeware. Google it I guess

i have some sprites but how do i animate them?

I don't use Coffee Cup myself (I prefer Animation Shop, seeing as its easier to get my sprites from PSP and just import them) but here's how I think its done

Require materials: Paint, Coffee Cup

Firstly: In Paint, get your sprites and put them in the position you want for the first frame. Also make the dimensions (Options, Attributes) in pixel format, around 250 by 200 is what I use
Secondly: Select All (Crtl + A) and then copy (Crtl + C)
Thirdly: Open Coffee Cup, make a new animation and set the dimensions to 250 by 200 pixels
Forthly: Paste in what you've made into the first frame. Then, right click somewhere on the window or check the various menus until you get an option called "New Frame", which you should then make one of
Fifthly: Make the next frame in Paint, paste into the second frame in Coffee
Sixthly: Repeat the process
Seventhly: When done, save in "My Pictures" under any filename
Eightly: Upload to the net via an image hosting site, like Photobucket or Imageshack

Tada, animation on the web

i dont really get it.... maybe i could do a animation if i could split the sprites. All the sprites are in the same picture...
#12
Yep, you have to split them and then put them seperatly onto the paint bit. I just use paint/PSP because it helps with placement issues <_<
#13
arrrgh dammit.... i cant save the animation becouse i need the full version... and thats not free!
#14
isnt there any free animator program?

I got Jasc Paint Shop Pro but i have no idea how to animate. I got the sprites i want but not the skills. If you could make a tutorial that would be very good.
