Attack type/defense type change codes help

I'm not use to jass but if someone could help me be able to change attack types when an item is piked up that would be great

If you were confused by what i just said then...
Unit picks up item (bow in this case)
Units attack changes from seige to peircing

Unit drops item (bow again)
Units attack changes from peircing to seige

I hope this can be done

I'm not shure it can be done
But you could make a trigger to see when a unit picks
up the item and replace the unit with a unit with seige attack but is exactly the same as the orginal unit Eg same stats, items, other.
