hey guys i have adobe cs 8.0 but i wanted to know how i can make/edit models using this program...or even create my own skins, please help

Do you mean Adobe Photoshop CS ?

You can't make models with an image editing program, I'm pretty sure thats obvious -_-

And you can edit skins with it, when they're in .tga format

3d studio max is the progam...

There are many others too.
Gmax, milkshake, Wings 3D, 3D Canvas...
