Will the faceless ones become a new race with a tech-tree, buildings, and heroes etc. in future chapters?

Tech-trees

That seems a bit unlikely, because most Faceless Ones are 5+ level monsters, which do not suit well into normal race techtrees. For example, Frost Wyrm, the strongest normal undead unit, is a level 6 monster. It is more likely that Gnolls will receive a tech-tree in the future. Nothing is decided at this point, but it is one possibility.

Even though I'm a fanatical bloodlust user, I'd suggest creating custom spells for Gnolls to use, if they get their own tech-tree.
