MODELING TOOL???

HEY PEOPLES I WAS WANDERING IF YOU PEOPLE KNEW ANY MODELING TOOLS WERE FOR FREE AROUND HERE :?: :twisted: I'D APRECAITE IF SOMEONE COULD GET ME SUM TUTORIALS :shock:

Ummm...nice name...

You can ask this in the modeling forums to get a quicker respons, but I know theres some freeware version of Gmax floating around that people are using. Wc3campaigns.com has all the tutorials you need to get started. Hope this helps.

GUYS I NEED UR HELP i downloaded a friggen model and it DIDNT WORK i got that little black and green box :evil: WHAT DOES IT MEAN!!

You asked for the same thing 3 times, your going to get a warning for double posting from Mecheon. It won't do you any good.

as long as were talking about models here, id like to know how to get an mdl into 3dsmax. it doesnt seem compadable with that program.

I think you need the mdl converted into a mdx first and with the Mdx importer/exporter script, you are able to import it.

i tried imorting it as an mdx as well as an mdl, both didn't work. it said "no appropriate import module found. improper file format"
