i suggest (unless you want a zebra) to make it looks like fur, smudge it to look like hair

beware of my standard sentence :

"using only 2 colors for a skin part isnt smart? isnt it?"

Looks like the use of 2 basic solid colours uh?
Add shading/lighting and other details perhaps so it doesnt look too basic.

its amazing how much better skins would be, if people actually worked on them, and not just rushed through some colours.
