My Idea is pretty much making an stargate melee sorta or conquest like use planet models and make 40 planets each one has in inside and each one has 2 mines and a stargate and maybe hostiles
The races you choose from would be like Toll'an,Ga'ould,Asgard,Humans,Tok'ra,Aschen,and also the Replicators
each race has like a townhall,depoy,technology lab to upgrade to abilies for your guys,factories,starports,and towers/bunkers
each race also should have like its own ability like ga'ould shield have shields and replicators can replicate
also instead of just going through a stargate like a waygate there should be a HDH were you can dial four numbers pretty much and each has a differant world place.
also it be cool if there was like a spac zone were spaceships can travel without the stargate
An interesting idea, and i can think of a number of ideas i can give you, as i've though of similar things. The different planets with ships could work using ground pathing blockers and the abyss tile, air units can fly over them. Just creating little islands.
It would also be cool if you could upgrade your stargates, like by adding an iris, warnings when someone dials you, ect. Of course, its mostly the humans who do that...
Would also be cool if you had to do something to learn a gate's adress, like get it from an ally or fly to the planet.

well its theordically cool but i dunno i love to watch stargate and stuff but i don't think it would be that good to make this into a campaign or melee. I mean there are good melees out there but most of them like dota are great just because they are simple, that would take alot of models and francly just are not enough technology right now where were at to have a map so sufficticated i mean i hate waiting like 30 mins for a map to come up and i have cable and some what new computer so that really pisses me off. Im just saying if u want to do it good and i would love to play it but i don't think you or probably any one else on here could do it wit out more then 1 person and a shitload of time but cool idea though :-)
sry little fella i know you haven't been on this forum long but there are not a alot of people who make futuristic maps, its just really hard and big model files. I don't know how long youve been playing warcraft but this is pretty hard thing to do. I dunno i just think that logically its not gonna be able to be that great and even if it was it would take a good team and long ass time. So im wouldn't bet on it happening
taroshu and i both run a clan and we have been exploring the potential of a stargate map for a while now. if anyone is intrested in the idea and would like to help wisp me on spartan-101 or taroshu at alpha-squadron or come to channel clan sgrp.
