Kind of reeling from that essay, we can all share how we "rate" people's things

Maps
-Stolen/copied-Do you suck eggs?
-Altered Melee using possibly stolen concepts-Is your brain working?
-Sloppy Map-Can I torch you?
-Somewhat good; A lil cheesy-Nice Job--Can I shake your hand after I cough into mine?
-Nice map-Can I give you a prize of -$.20?

Skins
-Paint- Fry in hell
-Filters- Do you like arsenic? You'll be loving it soon
-Recolor- Can I torch you?
-CnP- Can I fly a shrapnel kite 3 feet away from you?
-CnP+Redraw- I like your skill; can I pick your brain?
-Freehand- I'll play you roulette. If you land on a red notch, this bomb will blow your teeth into your skull

Models
-Anim Transfer- Can I rip out your spine and beat you with it?
-Stupid Merges- Can I stick a dagger into your chest and kick your dying body?
-Merges- Nice Job. I give you a C+
-Reskins. Look up freehand skins
-Skinned models with too much res for textures-Can I recommend you beat yourself?
-Nice models like Cookie's- Your a god. That's $2.50 for the appraisal

Icons
I don't give a **** about icons as long as they aren't
-Paint
-Weird ones with little object and lots of background
-Really stupid recolors

Can anyone show me their rating curve?

(something i saw yersterday) = you dont deserve to have a computer
excessive rcf (recolor cnp filters) = not worth looking at
half rcf = very bad, its making me depressed
pins equivalant = ugh thats bad, why dont you try some freehand?
freehand, but only changed 50% of the skin = it doesnt look very different... please dont skin ever again
100% freehanded skin = great, but the changes are excrement
me = woah, you're such a god!

icons ( no one have them right )
recolors= die
icons that doesnt make sense/doesnt have a point/obvious/self-explainable = i dont think you get the point of iconning...
a resized screenshot from wc3viewer = goddamn lamer
a poorly edited icon = please, delete your painting program or something
a cnp from god knows where = all the things above
a totally new icon, something clear and suggestive and well-made ( think day of the fish ) = oooh, now it starts getting useful

it was hard to put it into words

About maps:

If they suck, I pull out the gasoline and matches, with no questions asked.
If it's an okay map, I try to point out what could be done better.
If it's a good map. I vote either 4 or 5.


About skins and models:

I don't care about what methods are used, as long as it looks good. But if it sucks I go straight for the delete button, but if it's good I might vote, if it really kicks @$$, then 4 or 5.


About icons:

I don't really care, but if it's some crappy thing done in paint, I call in the torch wielding angry mob.

about this thread: we need more like this, what was that about 2$ ?

crappy freehand- wow this sure does suck, dont submit anything that you know people wont like
ok freehand- its pretty good but..(insert complaint here)

icons: nothing here, becuse icons are the least popular resource.

models:
crappy animation tranfer- so what? anyone can do this.
stupid models(like a cube or sphere)- odnt submit this, you didnt even make it.
crappy geomerges- stupid, why would someone use this
good geomerges- good, but you should try making custom models
good custom model- great! i only wish i could use this if i had my cd!

art:
recolor of already existing pics- stupid, you didnt draw this, your art skills are equal to of that who can color within the lines...wait you didnt!
bad sloppy pic- dont submit that drawing you did in math class the other day, it wasnt a blocked schedule so you didnt have much time to work on it.
decent pic- good but(insert complaint here)
awsome pic- great, youre one of the few who can submit decent art submissions here

tools:
all- how do you work this freaking thing!!!??

All these comments are terrible and just lame!

A simple work I'd say will do it.
A rating bar like a progress bar will do.

[IIIIIIIIIII] < example but like windows'.
And the percentage of how well the skin is done in the middle, example 25% = poor. (no words though)
