Yes... I m a noob

I follow the tutorial for import models, but
when i import all things, and sets the name of models
in the unit, the editor tell me:

"Could not find goblins.mdl"(for example)

but why? If the file is mdx?
#2
That's just a thing it does. It should be ignored
#3
OMG, the model not appear, only a green cube *_*
#4
You didn't import the skins to the right path. Import them to the right path as shown on the page they came from
#5
If you imported all the files of the model(s') , it should be fine after a while.

Keep in mind that WE takes longer to recognise custom imported models than recognising them in the game itself.

After a while or two, WE should eventually recognise the model. Just ignore that cube and the error message for now. Its always like that.

If you're sure the paths for the skins are correct, and you don't want to wait, you can save your map, close worldeditor, then restart worldeditor and reopen your map. The models will appear then.
#7
No, that will not work. One restart after a model import won't get WE to recognise it. It may work in the game however.
#8
Soph, you're wrong. Closing WE and then reopening it will get the model recognized if it has the right skins at the right paths. Trust me, I've done it heaps of times
