You can't stop the flow in map submissions per week, but it would be possible to make it soe the only tested an known of being good maps submitted in the week should always go to director's choice , which should actually be changed to Staff approved maps or something.

the problem is: who should test all those maps? there would be at least 2 new mods needed, i guess

No one really wants to test those maps...

But someones got to take one for the team,
Get someone whos eager to be a moderator and willing (dumb) enough to check all those maps

A noob perhaps

Then just fire him, or *shifty eyes* take him out. lol

I obviously don`t check all the maps, but i do check a large number of them. All the map I put into the director`s choice section were ones I personally played all the way though. I think the map section has a sufficiant ammount of mods, but if an occasional unfinished or non-working maps slips though my fingers, feel free to bring it to my attention so I can deal with it. Thanks.
