Winmpq and WC3 ROC..

Ok, I have winmpq loaded onto my computer properly, how would I be able to use this program to load models onto my wc3 map?

What pathing should I use.. I use win98..

Each map should act like its own mpq archive. By pathing, do you man pathing for the model files and skins? Models dont really need a path, but the skins do.

Well, im kind of talking about both.. I cannot figure out how to get wc3 RoC worldedit to recognize the models and skins im trying to put into it; I have War3fileconverter, War3viewer, and Winmpq. All programs I heard would help me to import model files into maps and such. Is there a certain format that the files have to be in?

In a previous post you told me that Winmpq could somehow move the model/skin files to my RoC worldedit. But you did not explain how I would manage to accomplish this feat.. I found some paths in the .mdl file, do I use those with Winmpq somehow? :?

RoC WE will never recognized stuff that's imported with WinMPQ. You need to import everything you want to import between saving and playing the map.

And don't bump threads. It's very bad form.

How would I import files between saving/playing the map? Sorry for the thread bump :?

you will have to import the files everytime you edit the map again after you saved it.

Want a tip? just go TFT.
