Trigger help - Unit comes within range...

i was making a trigger and decided that instead of making 100's of regions i would just use that... but for the thing im using it for its like this: a farmer comes withing 850 (farmers sight max at day) then it pings the location for the hunters like an advanced sentry ward (which is exactly what it is...) but i dont know what i should use for the 'unit entering range' and 'unit approached'... ive checked a few times and entering unit doesnt seem to work... any suggestions?

if entering unit works. then use it!
As long as there is a choice, you don't use Triggering unit!

i would! but as i said, entering units doesnt seem to work

yikes i hate that trigger myself it bugs so much that even variables dont work for it.

But there is a way by using coditions i don't completely remember so you should just check

i have checked many times... read the little tooltips as well... nothing about 'unit within range'

"Entering Unit" only replies to a "Unit - A Unit enters.."-Event. Post your trigger so we can check it.

Use triggering unit because it is more general, but because the trigger is fairly instant, I think this would work. This function is great now because it can be assigned to variables and not preplaced units.
