Wrath of God

A idea I had, maybe its already been done...

A brief cinematic displays the beautiful and prospering town, which is very well populated. Then, it gets to the fun part.

You enter the game as God. Then, by using uber overpowered triggers and spells, you control the city. For example, unleash a terrible plague that sends hordes of locusts to eat people, or meteor blasts to crush citizens. The town would auto-rebuild, oblivious to your destruction, fresh for you to terrorize again. Then, maybe the devil will visit and you SAVE the town for once.

Hmmm, what do you think?

That's what Sim City is for

Try my Meat for the Grinder map if you feel like destroying happless towns for a while, but I must admit that mine doesnt rebuilt its self. interesting idea, though. If well-implemented, it coould be fun.

If you really like watching people die so much, then create endless loops of triggers than spawn and kill units

lol, i made a 32x32 map in sunken ruins
the only triggers are to spawn and move orc and human units every 5 seconds

you could type "-wrathofgod" to make everyone get hit by infenal meteors and die though :D   :D

I could create the goriest effects that the game engine could allow me to...
