How does one exactly add a portrait? I mean how does one assign it to a character. I have made portrait files for characters and the little portrait screen remains blank (Hence none of my models having portraits...YET!). So how does on fit with the other?

Simply the name must be correct, and the rest will follow as such.

So if your model is named GiantFlamingRoseOnASlimyWeighingScale.mdx,

your portrait file must be named GiantFlamingRoseOnSlimyWeighingScale_Portrait.mdx
