Extra Black Flaps?

With some of my skins there are extra black squares around stuff, anyone know how to remove these? I was told to make a transparent area where it exists but when i convert to .tga it like flips the skin 180 degrees, its weird.

So does anyone have ANY idea how to fix it?

You probably used a crappy converter or imaging program. You need to use alpha channels

Um if you didn't notice I didn't ask WHY it happened, I know why, i need to know how to fix it.

and as Eusira said, you have to use alpha channels.
Alpha the unneeded space out and then convert the skin. If it flips the skin, then just flip it before converting.

EYEYEYE! Im still facing the same frickin problem...

Im using Macromedia Fireworks and it saves into PNG format, so i use my image converter (ACDSee) and transfer it to TGA, I have to flip it, than I apply it and the areas taht are suppose to be alphad out come out white!

i doubt fireworks support alpha channels.
