You can try the trial but theres never a free version of it... unless you download a crack (not recommended) remember 3ds Studio max is not the ONLY modelling program in the whole world... new companies are also working on new modelling programs for business and use as we speak.
Unfortunately, 3ds max is only available in the newest version - 6.0. If you want it you can got to discreet.com, go to products and click 3ds max. The only problem with this is that Warcraft 3 Art Tools only work with earlier versions.
YES but 3D Canvas can't animating very bad and what is that about that 3D Studios max 6 dont work ??? I'm downloading it ret now PLZ TELL ME IT WORKS ??
3ds Studio Max 6.0 does work but its not compitable with Blizzard's Warcraft III art tools. However 4.0 and 5.0 (older versions of 3ds Studio Max) still are compitable. I think I downloaded the trial from a site which had 3ds Studio Max outdated
SophoRazor save $$$ with 3D Canvas. Its just good as 3d Studio max and really cheap. I'm saving up for it too, its much easier to use and works with wc3.
if you think it supports warcraft because it can import and export mdls, it doesn't work :-/ the mdl refers to flight simulator model files, not warcraft.
@Dread The Undead: I wouldn't doubt it. 3ds max is a probably the most widely used professional modelling tool. That's why it costs so much. Discreet knows that huge movie-making companies like Sony don't care about the price of the program. A lot of movies that rely on special effects have used 3ds max.
Can someone tell me from where i can get the 3dsmax... i realy need it.... if you can even send me to my email it wil be great.
