Hi I'm new and could use some help in map makings...

Hey,hi guys,im new,i just registered this morning and i could use some help with map making...hi have very good ideas...but i didn't quite understand the tutorial...Could any1 tell me what should i do when i wanna download a skin ,model,icon,etc...

Go to your worldeditor and then to the import menager and import the skin, icon or whatever you want (except the art ) and then set the path, they are listed under the resource, thou not for skins, you can find the path for skins in wc3viwer and wc3image extractor 2.

k,but there is one more thing...

how do i put traps in a map? like those when sum1 goes on the ground and they get killed...but they can't be seen...

its a trigger, go to trigger editor and create a trigger.

Event - unit enters region (of course create a region first)

condition: unit is a hero  (it will only effect if a unit is a hero)

Action:
Unit - kill unit instantly or something like that.

thx but now,i'm making a escape map and i would like 2 no how do u put catapults 2 attack ground...
