Legality of a LOTR campaign

hi guys

i was just wondering, finishing off the opening cinematic to start my campaign, would there be legal issues involved in creating a LOTR warcraft campaign? Particularly using music taken from the movies, possibly voices and (maybe, not likely) snippets of the movie (ie the part where elendil pwns Sauron, or gollum bites off Frodos finger)

Technically it would be illegal. But I doubt anyone would give a darn...that is, unless your map campaign becomes so popular that hundreds of thousands of people download it and in turn catches the eye of one of their lawyers.

well m8, theres heaps of maps out there like LOTR ones.. warhammer 40k? all the mauls, simpsons, family guy.. etc etc.. i know they rmnt exactly like them, if thats wat u mean.. but i c no problem in making a cover..
