Using crow form model?

I've tried everything but I can't seem to be able to use the druid of the talon's "crow form" model for a normal unit. Is there any way I can use the crow form model without having the unit morph into it? Even placing an unaltered 'Storm crow form' unit on a map uses the normal druid model in the game.

On the "Animations" tab flick on the "Alternate" value, as seen in the Crow Form unit

Doesn't work. Like I said, even if I just place an unaltered storm crow form unit in the map, it uses the druid model.

Did you actually play the map, and not just look in WE?
