I need a good program that can convert gif,bmp, or other files to tga. Could u post any good ones?

Gimp, Photoshop, Paint shop pro, anything. they all are compatible with dozens of file types. including those. Gimp is availible here if you dont wanna spend $$.

Irfanview. Just go to the tools dl section here. It even plays movies.
