sure i can do triggers, ill probably have a few questions, these kinda triggers arent usually in my area, ive never done a campaign, but i downloaded that world of warcraft thing(very good game by the way, even if its only a demo)and i saw the compass thing.I have plenty of time, as i said, im only in 7th grade so i get out at 2:30, im in track, so around 4, 7 on mondays cause i have meets... dont worry though, ill get it done. Exactly how many maps are there? Are they already imported so you can send all the maps as a campagn, or seperately?

THat stuff wouldnt be too complicated, and i saved a JASS tutorial to my computer, so i can work around that. The directions thingy would be the hardest, it would go something like: every 1 sec set string for multuboard X, column X, row X to String(Real: Direction of unit). If you whant an actual little arrow, i would have to take your advice and goto the world of warcraft map, sounds like it may need some jass, how are you going to make an arrow point diagnol, all the key-board has is <>^V. If you need help death, ill be happy to give you advice, triggers, w/ever
EDIT: oh ok, you whant the name of the direction the hero is facing, thats a whole lot easier then doing a arrow lol, that doesnt have to include JASS either, it can be done in GUI
actually an actual 8-directional compass could be made easily using a multiboard 9 box grid (3x3) using icons in the boxes hence you'd have a XXX XOX XXX and you simply need a small icon for each direction arrow that will be put in the corresponding box with the other ones left blank, that and NNW could be represented as 2 arrows and so on
OK. Its in a campaign, due to the imported files, if I use seperate maps, I'd have to import same things onto each maps, resulting in a huge huge file. There are currently like 10 maps. One if the intial selection map, you don't have to worry about that one. The triggers, once you have them should be pretty easy to juest export and import and adjust it for the map. Thx -Blue
Strange, my world edit is behaving retarded. I can only have the screen to a certain size, if i go beyond that size, it freezes. When i put it back, it unfreezes. I have to keep it at about 75%. Its not anything big, but it'll irritate me. Anyone know how to fix it? Thx -Blue
Maybe your Hardware cant handle the Editor anymore,because it takes away to much ram?! Maybe try to use another Editor and see if the problem remains. Or try to decrease the graphic details in the editor options, could be set to high!And they would have been reset due to the reinstall i beleive...
good, lets hope it deosnt jack off on you again lol, and raptor, yah i thought about it as i downloaded WoW, and that would work, instead of triggering a string change, it would trigger a change in the icon. Im waiting blue, maybe we should do that, provoid someone can get me some arrow/compass type icons
That would be great Vol. If you can provide us with the icons that we need, then we can still have u as part of the development team as well. If you can provide some icons, itd be great. Currently I need 4 flag icons, some human looking flag icons for each nations. There should be a description of the nations of page 5 of this topic. And of course the arrows that shadow is requesting If you can make it id be great. thx -Blue
