New feature: "Downvoter List"

As all of you already know its possible to see how many times a person has voted and what he has voted.
But its not possible to see for what resources he voted (privacy)
example:
http://wc3sear.ch/?p=Profile&u=1297

I consider people who vote more than 60% of their total votes a "1" to be downvoters.
I made a list who shows all people with more than 60% voted a 1.
http://wc3sear.ch/memberlist.php
Scroll down that page to check for the downvoters.
People who abuses the rating system for voting everything down will get their votes deleted and got strip of the ability to vote resources.

...but half of those people have only rated once.

It shows those with 60% of their votes being a 1.
If they only voted once a 1 they are on that list (because they have 100% of their votes to be a 1).
If they vote a second resource with something other than a 1 they instantly get removed from the list (because they are then at 50%)
But actually they are not very interresting. The interresting ones are those > 10 or 20 votes of 1
#4
but if someone have voted 1/5 once and then got his ability to vote stripped, how will he fix that?
#5
This is a great idea, which limits the annoyingly negative folks greatly. Way to go Darky. :D

I only strip abusers...
1 vote is not abused

A better way to see which members are downvoters would be to calculate a score : for instance, if Sc is the score, use this formula:
Sc = (nb(1)+2nb(2)+3nb(3)+4nb(4)+5nb(5))/nb(votes)
Then set a threshold under which people are downvoters, and say that, for instance, this can only apply to people who have voted more than 5 times (like a ressource's votes only show when there are more than 5 ratings), and you have your downvoters.
You could also use:
Sc = (nb(1)^2+2nb(2)^2+3nb(3)^2+4nb(4)^2+5nb(5)^2)/nb(votes)
to increase the discrimination between downvoters and others. You'd however need to use a threshold that would be function of nb(votes).
Don't know if it helps or gives headache

Too many numbers too many numbers!!!!

But i do think that this is a good idea because it forces people who only vote on bad submissions to vote and comment on good ones too

Huh, Cookie's a downvoter?
#10
yea all of Cookie's votes are ones. Hey Darky, what about a highvoter list now, to see who votes they highest?
#11
Wow, amazing feature
So that was the noob who rated down things
#12
i doesn't like this idea its like to put ppl on a hate list should be more private only for the moderators :|

Not necessary. It would just make people rate more and some people don't want their resources to be rated. Its a downrater list that is good because thats everyone hates, a highrater list may not be needed

With over 2700 members that would be a lot to browse through... :?

I agree with Sopho, a highest-rater list would give only people incentive to spam all the rescourses with 5's, even though they may not deserve it.

I'm glad action is being taken on this.

I think they deserve that, If you only vote 1 you aren't helping, If you feel like voting vote for every resource, both the good and the ones, cause we have good stuff here
