Screenshot Capture Tutorial
This tutorial describes how to capture a screen shot from Warcraft III, save it, and submit it to this site.1) Open your map in Warcraft III or in the World Editor.
2) When you find a screen you would like to capture, press the print screen icon. On most keyboards, it is next to the scroll lock and F12 keys.

3) If it captured correctly, the text “Screen Captured” will appear in yellow at the center of the screen.

4) You can capture multiple screenshots in the same session. All screen captures are stored in the folder “Warcraft III\Screenshots.” However, these files are stored as targas (.tga), so only certain photo programs can open these. You can use IrfanView to open and convert these files. You can get it here or here

5) You can also paste your last captured screen into any photo program using Edit > Paste.
6) Regardless of what method you use, next you should save the file. Open the save dialogue via File > Save As. Choose a name for file. You must save it as a JPEG (.jpg) file if you want to submit it to the site.

7) When you go to submit your resource, select the file under the field “Screenshot.” If you did everything right, then your screen capture should appear next to your spell.
