man, this is just one of the semi-goth prejudgements, that miscredit the true goth-culture. Goth (and not semi-goths wannabe numbdumbs) have no religious belief, thus does not believe in the black church either! Its more like a discovering community, engineering ways of enduring equalities boredom, thus a highly creative community, and active poets, artists and musicians, often commenting life in a depressive way, that can be argued for and against.
