Kerrigan, u r goth right? I heard somewhere that when some1 is really depressed, begins to cut her/his self and that person becomes a goth and admires satan and does these rituals with pentagrams and stuff, right? Or r u just some1 that weres black clothes and is a 'fake' goth
Well, one characterisitc thing about being a goth is being very anti-religion (i.e. death really is the end). So I'd have to say 'no' on that one. Of course there are always exceptions. -VGsatomi
Well, this is the answer my friends and I came up with;
The term GOTH indicates a way someone dresses, which is in black and generally rather drab and dark.
The term EMO is the personality of being really depressed (and in some very bad cases cutting themselves, but not very often). Typically this stage of depression comes around ages 12-14 and leaves by the time people are 16 or 17.
Emo is typically associated with the goth way of dressing, and usually comes hand-in-hand too. But I know plenty of exceptions.
