guys i now this is a dum question but pls dont laf and asser me pls how do i make world editor work in a hier version like 1.18

im sorry but i dont understand this at all it looks like game maker I CANT MAKE ANY SENSE OF IT WHAT SO EVER

It can be difficult to use, and the interface is, well, different. After using the original WE for so long, this can be very confusing. And it can be difficult to see and understand exactly what it is that you're doing. But it does apparently allow you to do more than is allowed with the original WE.

And Twisted_Firestarter: IT'S NOT MEANT TO REPLACE THE ORIGINAL WE. Of course it can't beat the original WE, it's meant to do more after you make a map. To EDIT what was done in the original WE. Get it through YOUR head.

does this protect maps? i don't get it either

Does it work with the newest tft patch?
Does it really not have trigger editor?
Does it allow infinate sized maps?

Just wondering if this works with a newer version. I hate downloading something and finding out its for an older version of warcraft.

Well i havent messed with all of it but, it's nice someone took alot of time to make a new editor. Although it would be great if they made making terrain easyer to doo.. it took me a while to find out what i was doing on the screens.. (im to used to WE Unlimited)

When I attempt to open the folder (immediately after download, when it asks you if you want to open it), it states the files are corrupted. If I try to unzip it, it states there is nothing there. I have Windows XP if this helps any.

This works with Windows ME.

To clarify some confusion with this Editor: This is an EDITOR and WE Unlimited is a file that adds features to World Editor without messing with any of the Wc3 files, it's an add-on. Zepir's is a program that is totally seperate from Wc3 World editor.

Hey, I can't seem to get the extra cliff-types to work.

I can put 3 in there, but whenever I try to use the extra one it shows up as one of the default cliffs for that tileset ingame. Is there something extra I need to do aside from just putting the extra cliff in there?

this for roc or tft? this better than unlimited?

why cant you all use the traditional editor. you can still do anything with it. why would you need or want custom parthing. Also you can change the water level in trad we, as well as size/shape of doodads.

Well, i got used to WE Unltd, so i don't think i'll need this tool.
Too bad though, we unltd doesn't work with the newest patch, so i can't continue work on my map.

Will maps made with this editor be fully usable in their saved version, or do they require some sort of "conversion" to normal ROC/FT format to first be playable? Are maps made with WE UNLM usable on BNET?

...well, with mine, you can! (and that's just a feature between others)

This map editor has not been designed to "replace" the WE. Use it as an additionnal tool that allows you to stuff you can't do with the WE (path editing, change water level, tiles flags, number of tilesets, protection, hudge ground level differences, doodads in shapes, map convertions,...)

If you need a tutorial, there is an old one for beta 4 there:
as a zip
or as html.
Many stuff changed since then but it can help beginners.
