Would the path for the Gold Coin be: Objects\InventoryItems\PotofGold\GOLDCoin.blp? I'm trying this but doesn't work. I tried the same skin with the Spirit Walker, with the path I saw here, and it worked...
hum... it isn't working yet. Do I have to put the model's path? I thought it was the original skin, like the Spirit Walker example I saw in this topic. I also saw in the War3viewer the path for the Gold Coin's skin. I was typing the correct one...
Ah yes... nice Yin Yang coin I made! But I had to use Lubbe's piratecoin model. Olofmoleman said that his skin for the TFT coin also didn't work, so he used this model.
it replaces the original skin. u can also use more skins for a model by converting the model to mdl, change the texture and then save that mdl and convert to mdx, so it looks the same but has another path (so u can apply the skin on that path)
I Can't read all pages so i ask now: I Have read Import Model Tutorial in this site and i did everything like it says , But... I Cant Understand waht i must do in phase 6!?! There Says: Now you can assign the goblin model to a unit in the object editor. So What i have to do there?!?! help me plz!
when u go to the units tab and select a unit, u have on the right side alot of sections, u must go to the art section, its above the combat section i thought. just find 'art - model' there u must change the model to the imported model
Go to the Object Editor and find your unit/doodad/item... Find in the right side: "Art - Model File", and change it to the imported model Click OK and then of course you know...
Okay okay okay...I knmow get the skin thing....but I have one important question....can you change the skins path so it goes to another unit...example...I have two skins for a bloodmage and im want them both to be used...what do I do???
