Whats so great about Dota?

OK I AM NOW GOING TO LIST SOME PROS AND CONS TO DOTA!!!

Pros:
Dota has over 70 heroes!!! that means that u can continue to play the game for a long time and always try something new. This helps to keep the game enjoyable over time.
Dota has many items which a lot of AoS type games fail at. You can combine items for recipes and turn your hero into a god.
Lots of cool spells and models.

Cons:
ICEFROG STOLE A LOT OF THOSE MODELS AND SPELLS FROM WC3SEAR.CH AND DIDNT GIVE CREDIT TO THE CREATORS!! Icefrog is indead a fag who stole from a good website and refused to let anyone know that other people made those models and spells.
No matter what people say some heros are unbalanced. By the same note though it is a physical impossiblity to perfectly balance a game. It is a process that would take several generations of non-stop gaming and as such is impossible.
The items are very imbalanced. Some items are godlike others just suck.
Heres something i bet u guys didnt know, icefrog didnt do the Dota terrain. He had some other guys do it for him and never put them in credits. now maybe he added them in a really recent version, i dont know but no matter what icefrog didnt do his own maps terrain and then didnt give the actual terrainers credits.
Dota has a searious lack of cool things in the game, Example: In EotA a player has several camera angles, commands that tell them how much damage their spells are doing and most heroes in it have at least one spell that is effected by the heros attributes. Dota has different game modes that only player 1 gets to decide on...

All in all i think dota doesnt suck but its not really that fun... the worst thing about dota is its comunity who are easily angered fags.

The last time i check this map it was very 1000x unbalanced, all heroes really2 imbalance, while others have fuckin' great stas and the other have really screwed stats.

Icefrog is really idiots, does he even know what the meaning of balance? All he doing is reducing, reducing and reducing.

Why people like to play DotA is becoz they get to own others thru that imbalanced game...

Dota sucks so much that my english is not good enough to describe it, and if it was I would be banned for it.

If you like AOS-style maps, try something good such as Blades & Billets (my favourite map ever).

You obviously does not know what the word balance means.

Dota is, hate it or love it, not balanced at all. Yes it has, what, over 60 heroes? That's the problem = Dota is build over the QUANTITY over QUALITY concept, which means that the heroes' spells sucks, doesn't fits the heroes, and are unbalanced to the extreme.

Interesting thread. For me, I play DotA because it's simply easy to get a game going with full players and there is a sense of familiarity, for better or worse.

if you want a great AOS play nantuko husk's war of the damned thats awsome you can actualy upgrade ya spawns in it rather then like dota the spawns are just free money also i got told VG helped him a bit
