Someone mentioned this before, but it is funny how people are saying how much they care when they are playing their WoW at around $10 per month while thousands after thousands of people die in months due to disease and fighting in countries located in Africa and Asia. And one person who played on WoW gets merely disrespected and many people have so much of a hate for the people who performed those acts.
It really seems to me like everyone would laugh, and if you are saying it you are probably being more honest than most other people. Unless you have individually served in the Red Cross or make bountiful donations to it (or some group that lends assistance), you really don't care what's happening or maybe the truth is too real to handle.
Getting mad for people disrespecting while sitting beside your luxurious lifestyle with computers and not giving a care to the dying people of the rest of the world. Quite contradictory isn't it? As I described, very few do a thing about it. As I also said, people like to talk the talk and not walk the walk. I can say that I care all I want to convince others that I am a "good" person, but when I never make any attempt to donate money to associations that work with helping these people, it really nullifies your so called "care".
As for the disrespect towards the death of a real person; this stuff makes me sick to my stomach. Those serenity fucks have no respect.
As for the ones organizing it; what were they thinking?? WoW is a war-game. Wanna have a funeral? go do it somewhere where its safe or get some armed folks to back you up, w/e, but don't forget that you're in WoW were people come to kill time and other players.. I mean, if you would do this stuff in some kind of GTA-mmorpg, would you be suprized if someone would come by and drive everyone over with a monstertruck?
