Light-Fang, please add some description to you hero as of whathes like, issues that need to be fixed, maybe a littile dtail in the map + you need to put it in the spelles section, and make a sceen shot for it when you do, to add desc go to map propeties(or somethin like taht(map descsription, and hten put info about the hero, after that test teh hero and makea screenshot, and then upload it into teh spells section in teh catogory Hero Making Contest.

Now about the topic: i have some questions about the contest. I'm maybe a bit late coz i've submitted my hero - but: - does it HAVE TO start at lvl1? - my hero is based on a really old map what i haven't published anywhere, but the only thing i published from it was a single spell. The idea itself is really old (almost a year old), and the posted spell is almost sure that more than a month old. Is it banned to use this spell?
I want to know something more about how you'll rate the heroes..
Anyway because of the huge time i have i'll probably upgrade my hero's abilities to make them more complex and combinable, and if i can't use the ultimate (the spell i've submitted) then i'l make an other too.
1. It has to start at level 1 because of balancing issues. The hero has to be balanced on all levels, so we have to check every level.
2. As long as it was never uploaded to the site it's ok. That rule only applies to Spells that have been published wether in a map or on a different site.
3. The rating system hasn't been worked out yet, so just try to make it good all around.
i plan on entering...ive never done this much before. only to meet my own needs. i hope this will make me better understand the need for properly balanced spells ^^
I have one last Q that doesn't really involve me but i was thinking, is it ok if ppl update their hero or when its posted then its final? This might be something that should be in the Rules.
what if this is a hero that augements other units, for example a level 10 paladin would not be able to beat any other level 10 hero, but he is a hero of choice in big multiplayer games since he can help others, will he be judged badly since he can't take on a another hero and win, but helps other units?
@shiggityshwa: You can update the hero as many times as you want before the end of the contest.
@taurenwarrior: If it's as balanced as Blizzard's heroes, then it's fine. The judging for balance will be based off of Blizzard's way of balancing heroes.
ive never done this before either... im new to the group although im familiar with the forums. can we send in a couple of heroes or just 1? (sorry if that was answered) and what do you mean by a title as a prize?

To ozo2: I wish to join but as someone already suggested I hope there would be one winner for the JASS spells and another one for the normal spells just to be fair.
I'd probably submit my entry halfway thru September.
