actually, trolls are supposed to be creatures who turn into stone in the morning. much like the gargoyles. and yes, Blizzard made the roc ALOT like the vultures.

this is getting off-topic.

That's why he said; Back to Topic (BTT)

So, then we are back on topic..

Trolls
Are big giants of either brown, green - even sometimes blue skin. They hide from the sun as it will turn them into stone - forever. They live in forests and mountains, they eat living humans, but also other animals. There are actually two types of trolls - It's the nice ones, who don't eat humans, maybe not even animals. While there is those who are furious, and a great threat to human-beeings.

.. What other monsters do we have in WarCraft from Scandinavia.. Any ideas?

Well - Gnomes and Dwarves.. but they are all correct in WarCraft, perhaps not the accent - but I like it.

A race I would like to see in WarCraft; Vikings

Mostly they look quite equal to a Dwarfm only they are taller. They have alot of beard - wear heavy helmets, use hammers and axes - also some swords. And they used shields. They have no magical powers.

They mostly live along shores, on a place with good sight. The warchief would live on the highest hill in the camp.

sorry, i'm not good at acronyms.

Vikings? next thing you know, their hero is going to be Odin. and maybe Thor.

and Vikings ARE humans.
#38
Mostly yes, but the Humans of WarCraft is not at all like the Vikings. A Viking building would look alot more like an Orcish building than a Human~. The Humans in WarCraft is based on the British Knights. Wich you meet in alot of films - King Arthur, LotR, etc.

By, the celtics (I can't remember exactly, but ain't that those who fight King Arthur and his fellows in the movie? They are focused on Germans, but they behave alot like Vikings. See the difference?

The Vikings fought against the Humans, wich Blizzard has used in WarCraft.

I can't wait. :D

.. Well.. I'm slightly getting off topic again. (But ain't that what the Forum is all about, Off Topic?)

The Razormanes are based on either Cows or Pigs.

With the models ingame and the other models I made, you can make a Viking civilisation.

I made one viking longboat, a Viking house, a Viking long house, a Runestone (skin), a druid(skin, living nercomancer), a coin and a Peregrin Falcon, em, that's about it I think.

Ah! Didn't think to look at skins!

That runestone gives me an idea for the Norsemen node :)

Here's my attempt at a Norse hall, using no custom skins:
