cuz i always wanted to make a model or a skin of my own but where and how?
and how u make spells.

I know you said nothing not made by Blizzard, but would I be able to add hero glow to a unit?

I'm not a good teacher so I can't teach you how ot make spells but, why are you asking about models and skins here?! In this contest you can only use the models that blizzard provides.

There are problems, I'd like to use my caster system for the spells but it uses a dummy model that does nothing but allowing moving special effects, if I can't use my caster system I won't make spells / enter to this contest,


Making spells without the caster system would be a lost of time.

And a hero without custom spells is not right.

Where exactly we should post our heroes?

We can edit hero/spell stats but not use custom skins, models, sounds, icons.



It certainly balances the playing field.

I think I'll join with my cpn's main hero. But I think I'll have to re-balance him and give him one new spell, one of his spells isn't very original. His final ability will look a bit different than it does now (because I use an own mdl-edit for it, and cause I can't use importet stuff...).

Edit: Oh yeah, and I have to translate the tooltips to english, of course

is it allowed to use vexorians castersystem or excerps of his templates (because it would enlarge the demomap by ~30kb using the whole system) for making customspells ?

I'm going to assume that the heroes we enter into the contest will not be used in other maps with out the authors permission (not that you guys would ever do that ). Also where do we upload the map to? And one more thing, how many heroes can each person enter into the contest?

Why on earth release a hero if you don't want other people to use it?
